Optimo * Fabric 52.
Although they’ll no longer be doing their weekly Sunday night sessions at Sub Club in Glasgow, Optimo duo JD Twitch and Jonnie Wilkes are by no means hanging up their headphones. As well as still playing occasional Sundays at the club and inviting other DJs to play under the Optimo presents…banner, they’ve also mixed the last in Fabric’s compilation series (#52). Following their punk-like aesthetic, the mix sees them join the dots between Dub Techno, Cosmic Disco, Jacking House, Techno, House and Electronica, with their eclectic nature targeted squarely at the dancefloor on this occasion.
